Feeling inspired/ Me siento inspirada

"The words she spoke finally sank in. While they were being spoken, he could not fully grasp their meaning. But now that he had been left on his own, he had set his mind thinking with everything that had been said. And he felt lonely. Had she said that it was over? Was it possible that she had been lying to him all along, pretending true love when all he had been for her was great company, someone to help her feel important and cared for? Could she have been so cynical to say "I love you", "I have been in love with you since the first day we met" and not have meant a word she had said? How could she have changed so much?
The tears started rolling down his cheeks, and they burned on the way down. He tried taking a grip on himself, but then realized he was sobbing out of control, letting out all the pain and anguish that he had been building up inside him through the years. And it had been so long since the last time he had cried.
His had not been an easy life. But hers hadn't either. He tried looking back on how their relationship had started and soon realized that he was now feeling the pain that so many times he had made her feel. Now, he had lost his best friend, the biggest and most important love of his life, and knew for certain that it was too late to get her back.
It had all been his fault. He had for so long ignored how deeply she cared for him, playing mind games on her. Now, it was his turn to feel it: the emptiness, the loneliness, the yearning for what could have been but which he had let go by in his search for happiness, in his fear of being cheated on and thus not committing fully neither to her nor any of his female friends, on his wasting away precious years, never really seeing how much he was hurting her along the way.
Now... it was his turn to take some of his own medicine. And he started crying again".

Karen, thank you for always reading me! If I ever dare publish any of my work I will let you know. Otherwise, I could email it to you if I ever finish it. Thank you, now and always!

I always feel that one should do what they feel like. And you by all the means have rights to do wat you feel like. Well had i been in u r shoes I guess I would have forgiven him. We all make mistake, you, me, everybody. And it takes long for one to realize his mistakes his deeds. But then we go on committing mistakes cos we don realize. But what is important is somebody realizing his wrong deeds and when he repents. He/She really means it a lot. But the problem is it becomes too late by the time he/she realizes his/her mistakes. And I in that case would forgive him/her. But then it depends on person to person. And when we truly love somebody we would never want him/her to be in pool of pain or trouble. Why do we love somebody so much that we start hating them? Why is it that when we are together we want him/her to be the happiest person and when we part we change our thoughts. well to me once loved will always be loved. By my nature I cant stand anybody in trouble . then cat even think of somebody whom i actually love so much suffering like this...

Forgot to mention important thing that makes one take such hard step is the suffering, the trauma one has gone and is going through because of him/her. And that is when one forces him/her self to take a stand. But the best decision is one that comes from within. And if that`s something that has come from within then go ahead jeannie. God will be with you.

Hey Jessie... WOW!!!!
What you wrote is all so true... we usually tend to realize pur mistakes far too late. But thankfully what you read here, is just material for a future story or novel which I am planning to write (once I finish with the one I have been at for the past two years almost! haha)
Thank you for reading what I have to say! Hugs, my friend!!
