"The Secret"/ "El Secreto"

Yesterday, Andrea posted someting about this book, "The Secret", written by Rhonda Byrne. I have been meaning to write something about it ever since it arrived to my hands.

I have a very dear friend, Sovit Biswas, a Hindu guy living and working at present in Minneapolis, and whom I met online some years ago. Knowing me as well as he does, he sent me this book as a birthday gift this year, believing that I would be able to understand still better what I always "preach" about the importance of having a positive attitude. And that I would be able to benefit from it.

I never tend to take anything I read as THE truth, at face value, but usually read, analyze and decide what is more suitable for me and those around me.

"The Secret" is as simple as the law of attraction... what we think, happens. We must learn to visualize ourselves in good, positive situations for them to come true. This does not mean, naturally, that if I think I will be rich and happy that is exactly how it will happen. But it is true that we must learn to think positive. It is useless to think... "I hope such and such a thing does not happen..." as this is thinking negatively. Words such as "never, no more, nothing, not..." must be pushed out of our thinking.

Many might think that life cannot be as simple as that, that I cannot be so naive so as to believe such a thing. I can only say that when I feel good and positive, only good and positive things come my way. Like today and these past few days... I am feeling well and positive and people who are making me happy and hugging my soul are coming into my life! I am the writer of my life script... I can make it better, I can make it what I want it to be!!! (naturally, there is a higher force above, but most of what happens down here, is all my responsibility, and I have the freedom to be creative and live my life the way I choose to do so).

I bought this book when it was released and a friend also bought me the Dvd for Christmas.
I was happy to see that most of the advice it gives I have already put into practice for many, many years... as you know I always think positively and often tell you the same! The power of the mind can do wonderful things for us!
Muchos Besos My Dearest Friend!
